Year 6 visit to the Houses of Parliament

Year 6 have recently visited the Houses of Parliament. This annual visit is to support the children’s understanding of democracy. Starting in Greenwich, the children took a boat cruise along the Thames, observing the sights, before arriving at Westminster. The children visited the House of Lords and Commons., before taking part in a parliamentary debate. The children had the opportunity to interview Lord Hayward. Throughout the visit, the children demonstrated our DARE Values and were a credit to the school. Mr S
